I have to give you kudos, man, because that was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Best example I found. Brilliant bad poetry.

Well.. Shame on me for finding this via google alerts… That “poem” that I wrote – if you can call it that – was a joke. The real poem is by Cavafy. I satired it as part of a long gone thread on the well (well.com) and another user on that system
put it up on his website… Hilarity. Anyway, I appreciate the wingnut compliment!! Who doesn’t like a little wingnut with their Cavafy! Carry on… -Ty

Someone sent me the link to this post. Great post! I stopped writing around 21 too. My hubby, (then boyfriend) didn't like my poetry so I stopped writing it. LAME! I started writing again two years ago. And I arrived extremely late to the blogging party, but started blogging in May 2009.
